smartCharge is a charging station for e-vehicles that uses the existing infrastructure of the lantern and improves the charging process, as well as exploiting the following potentials: It is intended to promote the expansion of e-mobility, offer simple assembly, improve and simplify the entire usage process and offer increased recognition. These potentials resulted from the action analysis, which revealed these problems in other charging stations. The housing can be mounted on different types of lanterns and thus covers a wide spectrum. Through three backlit graphics, the user is to be guided through the charging process quickly and intuitively.
The design of the housing should adapt to the shape of the lantern so as not to look like a foreign object. smartCharge is intended to offer the user a quick, easy solution and simplify the entire process.
