VOIX offers a video bell system for establishing communication between deaf and hearing per- sons. The system consists of an outdoor unit, an indoor unit and optical bells for the interior. Vi- sitors are detected by the camera with high resolution. As a result, each visitor is recognizable to the occupant. The interface is clearly designed, which ensures intuitive operation. Through the text-to-speech system, the spoken response is displayed to the resident in the indoor unit in text form. This enables seamless communication between deaf and hearing people.

In the VOIX video doorbell, the light unit is the focal point of the design. This frames the display, which takes up most of the surface. Due to the inwardly curved shell and the matt pane, a soft distribution of light into all areas of the free space is created.

The bell button discreetly stands out from the otherwise flat surface through delimitation and diametrical design features. The camera is integrated into the display and thus recedes into the background. The video bell is rounded off by a discreet groove in the base body, in which the loudspeakers are enclosed.
